RedZonkey App Q&A and Troubleshooting
Get answers to common questions and find solutions to issues you may encounter while using the RedZonkey app.
Yes, RedZonkey is free to use. We’ve built it with one main purpose in mind—to help you keep up with a healthy routine through a bit of friendly competition. When you first join, you’ll start with 1,000 coins in your account. These coins are there for you to explore what RedZonkey has to offer, whether it’s joining your first competition, setting up a personalized workout plan with our AI coach, or trying out other features.
Now, as you get stuck into the competitions—whether you’re going for a season, league, or championship—you’ll find that you can earn more coins and trophies based on your performance. If you come out on top, you might find yourself with enough coins to cover your next entry fee, or to use them for something else that boosts your game, like tokens or even physical goods if you’re eligible.
But if you do find yourself a bit short on coins and want to keep the momentum going, you’ve got the option to purchase more directly in the app. This way, you can always stay in the game and keep pushing towards your goals.
Remember, RedZonkey is all about giving you the tools and the motivation to stay active and healthy. The more you engage, the more rewards and opportunities you’ll unlock. So, get involved, give it your all, and see where it takes you.
Great job for working so hard and pushing yourself to be your best! However, please note that the "classic" friendly competition has a daily cap of 600 points. This means that you won't be able to earn more than 200% of your daily goals, even if you workout more than usual. We want to make sure that you're not overtraining and risking injury, so please take care of yourself and don't push too hard!
In addition, our bonus system is a great way to earn extra points on recovery days or when you're not able to work out as hard as usual. So make sure to take advantage of those bonuses and give your body the rest it needs when necessary. Remember, a healthy and active lifestyle is all about balance, and we want to help you achieve your fitness goals safely and effectively!
Great question! RedZonkey needs access to your Activity rings data in order to accurately track your fitness progress and help you compete with others. If you accidentally canceled the access request during setup, don't worry - the app won't be able to request access again from the same screen. Instead, please go to the Apple Health app and allow access to RedZonkey from there.
If you're still seeing "no data" even after granting access to RedZonkey, it's possible that you've never used Apple Fitness before or your Activity rings aren't configured properly. To fix this, please open the Apple Fitness app and make sure that you can see your Activity rings and that your targets are configured correctly. Once you've done this, RedZonkey should be able to access your data and you'll be ready to compete!
Good question, and it’s one that speaks to the heart of how RedZonkey is designed. Our competitions are all about inclusiveness and fairness, giving everyone a fair shot—whether you’re clocking in hours at the gym or staying active throughout your day.
Here’s how it works: the points you earn aren’t just about how many hours you’ve logged in workouts, but about how consistently you’re hitting your personal activity targets. This means that someone who’s moving throughout the day, burning calories here and there, can still rack up points, even if they’re not dedicating hours at a time to traditional workouts. It’s a system that rewards overall activity and the effort you put in day after day.
And that’s the beauty of it—whether you’re a marathon runner or someone who stays active by keeping on your feet, RedZonkey gives you the tools to compete on a level playing field. So keep focusing on your progress, stay consistent, and remember that every bit of activity counts. That’s how we all get better, together.
First off, no need to worry—you’ve got options. If you’re finding yourself a bit short on balance to join an event, remember that every competition you participate in contributes to your overall wallet. At the end of each competition, the event’s 'bank' is split among participants based on their final positions. So, the more you push yourself during the event, the better your rewards will be when it wraps up.
If you’re currently in a competition, stick with it, give it your best, and you’ll see your balance grow as the event concludes. Once those rewards are added to your wallet, you’ll be set to join the next event with confidence.
But if you’re eager to dive into the action right now, you can always purchase coins directly. And these coins aren’t just for entry fees. You can use them to work with our RedZonkey AI 'coach,' who tailors a workout plan specifically for you, based on your routine. The AI 'coach' understands your past workouts and selects exercises that are spot on for your needs. You can also apply tokens to boost your performance and take advantage of other features. The more engaged you are, the more you’ll get out of RedZonkey.
Remember, competitions are about challenging yourself and others, and every effort you put in gets you closer to your goals—both in fitness and in-game.
Right, we’ve all been there—sometimes you forget your Apple Watch, or maybe you’ve had a rough day dealing with illness or injury. The good news is, RedZonkey’s got your back. We’ve designed a system to make sure one bad day doesn’t knock you out of the competition.
That’s where the ‘Comeback Champion’ token comes in. This little gem is your lifeline when life gets in the way. Forgot your watch? No problem. Had to take a day off because you weren’t feeling 100%? We get it. But here’s the deal—you’ll need to earn it. To apply the token, you’ll have to complete a personal challenge that proves you’re ready to get back in the game. Once you do, that token will help you reclaim your spot without losing all the ground you’ve gained.
It’s all about keeping you in the game and rewarding your determination. The competition’s tough enough without life’s little hiccups getting in the way. So, take on that challenge, use your tokens wisely, and remember, it’s not about how you start—it’s about how you finish.
Great question! When you signed up for RedZonkey, you had the option to use either your real name or a fun nickname to display on the leaderboard. We think it's awesome to show off your fitness achievements and be proud of your progress!
If you initially chose a nickname and would now like to change it, don't worry - we can help!
